The Mitsubishi Emirai got plenty of attention at the 2011 Tokyo Car Show, and for good reason. The concept car, said to enter the market within a decade, has a safety system that uses full biometrics and a large, curved dashboard made with a rear-projection display and 3D technology that doesn't just make the car amazing, it makes the car amazingly safe.
The vehicle looks more like the light-cycle from the movie "Tron," and it just might rival it. Aside from reading things like your BPM and facial temperature to adjust for comfort and seating, the "steering wheel" features shape-shifting buttons that enable only the options available on the keypad - so no mistakes while driving. While many auto makers are introducing technology that integrates lifestyle with driving, Mitsubishi is making it as safe and intuitive as possible with a completely touch-screen panel to the right of the driver for easy input without taking your eyes off the road. Practicality is always a must, so naturally, the passenger sitting behind the driver also has a 3D screen built into back of the driver's seat.
